Swim Instructor
Responsible for teaching swim and water safety courses with encouragement and positive reinforcement under the direction of our aquatics director. WSI and Lifeguard Certification preferred, but not required. Availability Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. beginning in September and following the Lawrence Public Schools calendar.

Fitness Instructor
We are recruiting a part-time fitness instructor (20 hours per week) responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering fun fitness-related activities for students in elementary and middle school. Must be available for structured classroom instruction on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Thursdays, 8:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.; the remaining hours will be in the evenings as part of the club's after-school program (preferably Monday through Thursday after 5:00 p.m.) Looking for a candidate with high energy, experience, passion for teaching youth, and interest in building positive mentoring relationships with youth.

We are seeking a nutrition educator to lead hands-on cooking classes in our commercial kitchen for middle school students. The educator plans, coordinates, and teaches three 12-week sessions, with each class focusing on culinary skills and nutrition awareness. Classes will take place on Thursdays, 8:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., in three hour-long classes each day beginning in September and following the Lawrence Public Schools calendar. The educator will be responsible for leading cooking activities, engaging youth in discussions on key points of nutrition, and clean-up. Class sizes will be 18 students with one para-professional to support the teacher. We are looking for candidates with high energy and a passion for working with youth. Nutrition certification preferred.

Boys' Leadership Instructor
We are recruiting a seasoned instructor to teach a leadership class to middle school boys on Thursdays from 8:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The curriculum, which will be provided, includes highly interactive activities to promote positive character, responsibility, and positive relationships. Candidates should have experience working with children, high energy, and a passion for working with youth.
