BGCL Receives $2,500 Grant from The Savings Bank Charitable Foundation

Markus Fischer, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence (third from right), accepts a $2,500 donation from The Savings Bank Charitable Foundation to the club's supper program, which provides a nutritious meal to 500 youth members nightly. Since its inception in 1997, the Wakefield-based foundation has donated more than $576,600 to nonprofit organizations in local communities.
