This month, over 100 Club members explored their futures at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence’s 2025 College Fair, where representatives from more than 30 colleges, universities, trade schools, and a scholarship program gathered to help students discover the many pathways available after high school.
Youth from across the Merrimack Valley—including those from our community partners at Boys & Girls Clubs of Lowell and Haverhill, as well as students from Movement, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth—joined together for a day filled with opportunity, guidance, and inspiration.
Throughout the fair, members connected directly with school representatives and learned about programs ranging from traditional four-year degrees to hands-on certifications. They asked questions about applications, scholarships, and career preparation—gaining insight into the steps needed to reach their educational and professional goals.
Adding to the spirit of service and leadership, our Keystone and Torch Club members volunteered throughout the event, greeting guests at the door and assisting representatives with refreshments and setup. Their involvement not only ensured the event’s success but also reflected the leadership, teamwork, and community values that define our Club.
By the end of the day, every student walked away with more than just brochures—they left with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of possibility. Events like the College Fair remind us that the future starts here, where guidance meets opportunity and every dream has a pathway forward.
